The kids came home with a flyer from the Yucaipa Adobe museum from school about a free day to go a learn and experience some really cool things. Today was the free day to go and do all sorts of fun things and learn about times past. Grady was sleeping and Hoper was being naughty, so James took Zach and Grace to see what fun they could have and the rest of us stayed home.
There were candles to be made, whirly-toys & corn husk dolls to be made, laundry to wash the old fashion way and they even could made adobe bricks! They didn't stay too long b/c of the heat, but they had lots of fun and were proud of the candles they made and even brought one home for Hoper :)
Here's some pics of their day-they were making candles. Obviously James had the camera, so the there aren't as many pictures, but some are better than none ;)
