Friday night was the Cadet camp-out in Joshua Tree. James is a cadet counselor and a great Daddy, so he and Zach went camping despite the rain. It was dry in the desert until about 4am when the rain fly on James and Zach's tent started leaking and they got completely wet! (not my idea of fun, but they had fun) They came home and had to hang their sleeping bags in the garage to dry.
They got up this morning and did some rock climbing (Zach mostly watched) and then they got home around 1 this afternoon. Just in time for Zach's birthday party at the Big Cheese here in town. He invited kids from his class and all his cousins are here and both sets of Grandparents are coming, so it should be fun. I'll post pictures once it's over! :)
