I'm not sure when the kids pulled it from the vine, but when I checked on it yesterday, it was off the vine and starting to get bugs in it. So I brought it in, washed it and cut it open.
It smelled really yummy, but part of it had started to rot. I cut the good pieces up and Grady and I ate it for breakfast today. It was a little soft, but actually pretty yummy tasting. :)Yeah for surprise homegrown cantaloupe :)
