Every year we color eggs with my parents. My mom brings the eggs, since we need a billion to quench everyone's appetite for coloring, she gets them from her supplier and boils them in a huge pot in her kitchen at work. This year we did 2 whole flats plus a few, over 6 dozen and the kids still wanted more, but it was plenty.
Add three kids...
A toddler,
A Daddy, a Momma, a Nana, a Papa and a Baby...
And you get...lots of colored eggs!
The kids had lots of fun trying to see what color combinations they could make. We talked about the real meaning of Easter and the symbolism of the egg and then wrapped up the whole mess in the newspapers that covered the table (I love easy clean-up) Our garage refrigerator sticks horrible like eggs, but soon the smell will be gone when we peel them to make deviled eggs for our Easter dinner...Mmm yummy!
