Zach and soccer camp
Zachary chose soccer camp as his activity for the summer. I had heard great things about the soccer camp put on by the British professional league, so that's what we signed him up for. His age group played 4:30 to 7:30 Monday through Friday. I was little nervous about the heat, as it was 100 plus during the day, but at least it wasn't in the middle of the day.
James took him every day and ended up helping out, which was lots of fun for him to be back on the field. Zachary did so well and really enjoyed himself! He is looking forward to playing in the fall again. Here is James token picture from the week :) I can't complain, at least there's one!
Thanks Jamesy for taking him every day and helping out even though it was roasting. You're the best!
Okay so blogger isn't letting me post pics right now, so maybe later... :(

Grady's new trick
Since the VanderMolen's have been in Zachary's room, we moved CoCo's crate into the loft so she could be by Zach and haven't moved it back yet. Grady seems to think it's the greatest new toy and pulls her blanket out and unzips he top, climbs in head first and does a flip and says "Momma, where's Grady (Gaaa-eeey)? Then he peaks out his head and laughs tell he can't catch his breath.
He did this for over 20 minutes and when I finally got the camera, he said "all done" and put a binky in his mouth. The picture is blurry, but it's what I got, I guess I should have taken his picture one of the first 20 times, instead of waiting :)
Silly boy!!!

Vacation Bible School
I love summertime VBS! Each summer I try to find a few different VBS programs that the kids can participate in. This summer because of our vacation schedule we could only fit in 1. A friend of mine told me about this one last year and the kids went and had such a great time, they wanted to go back! It's at Fellowship of the Pass in Beaumont, all week long from 9 to 12:15. so not only do the kids get to have a week of Godly fun, but I get to spend some time with just the babies, its a win-win situation!
I'm thinking next year of compiling a list of VBS dates, so that we can all be aware of the great opportunities of kids have to learn about God! So, if you have a VBS that you love let me know and I'll be sure to check into it for next year and create a post!

Baby Hilary
My niece Hilary is doing fine and got to come home today. My sister, her husband and their girls are all really excited that the baby is finally coming home, after 5 scary days in the NICU.
Here's the story...Soon after Hilary as born, she started having troubles breathing, gasping for air and her stomach became really distended, but after lots of tests, IV fluids and oxygen she is doing fine. The Dr.'s think it was because she has excess air in her stomach and somehow it was pushing on her lungs causing them not to be able to fill with air completely...whatever that means, but all is well. Thank God!
The hospital where they were didn't allow kids to visit, unless they are siblings, so we decided to wait to visit until they were both home and save the hospital chaos of 5 kids running around in the waiting room, for another time :) We will be visiting them soon. I'll post pics of her, as soon as I take them. I can't wait!!!

Sumertime Sleep-over
After Bible study yesterday Mary came over to play and ended up staying the night. Sarah came over too and the kids had (attempted to) a sleep-over outside on the trampoline. James set up the aero-bed downstairs just in case. They lasted for about 40 minutes before they decided they wouldn't be able to sleep that well and ended up coming inside to sleep.
Here's everyone snuggled up in their sleeping bags
Zach all tied up in his mummy bag!
Fun time none the less :)
