So before we made to my moms for dinner, we had a little glitch. James was loading our things into the back of my truck which was parked in the garage. He had the glass up and realized he didn't have enough room, so he decided to open the garage so he could lift the entire back up. As the garage door opened the inside handle of the door caught on the opened glass and...3 guesses what happened. It shattered everywhere! James was PISSED and I wasn't exactly happy either! A few choice words were used and I came inside deciding we weren't going. It was raining and we couldn't drive 1 1/2 hours in the rain without any back glass. However, some 2 hours later after sweeping and vacuuming up the glass and taping trash bags over the window in the back we left for my moms. No pictures of the broken glass, I think James would have shot me ;) Side note...Not looking forward to spending $300 on a new back window!
We still got there in plenty of time and with that behind us, we ended up having a really nice time. Here's some pics of our day. For some reason I didn't get any of my parents or of my big kids...crazy, busy day!
